I apologize if I haven't responded or favored any of art as of late, my friends. I've been going through some trouble dealing with feelings of infatuation for a great old friend of mine, and I have decided to forget about him, as these feelings will do nothing but hurt me later on. After all, I'll always be a naive young girl who can't do a thing for him.

I have started talking to a Heavy Weapons cosplayer since my return from Dragon*Con, and he has admitted that he is quite smitten with me. Perhaps further down the road I can fulfill my Medic duties and have a Heavy companion, but for now I'm done with love, as it has done nothing but hurt me.

...enough with the emo drama. (Ha, I'll keep that to my Facebook.)

When I was at Dragon*Con, I noticed there was a large gathering of men in blue suits and brown trench coats with red converse sneakers.
These men (and women) were Doctor Who cosplayers, a BBC live-action show that has been on air since the 60's, and the the suit wearing character was none other than the title character, the Doctor. But there plenty of other Doctor Who cosplayers that called themselves the Doctor, but they were oddly different from the suit wearing Doctors I encountered. The truth is, actually, the Doctor can take on a different form whenever he is fatally wounded, as he is an alien life form called a Time Lord, and he is the last of his kind. The Doctor has taken on ten different forms for forty years, and his scarf wearing fourth, pocket watch carrying eighth, and a best friend lookalike tenth forms are among my favourites.

Curious, I have started watching some old Doctor Who episodes on Youtube and Syfy, and I'll admit, I have become intrigued with this show, and perhaps one day I could be drawing fanart one day, or be strutting around Dragon*Con 2010 as the Eighth Doctor or the Fourth. (Maybe the fourth; I am rather fond of jelly candy and colorful scarves.)

Speaking of art, I haven't the faintest idea on what to draw. Any suggestions, my friends?
